The 2020 Fall Color Palette
I believe people have a “season”. And although Summer is my favorite season and I love a good beach vibe, my season is definitely Fall. I’m not sure if I feel this way because my birthday falls during the Fall, but I definitely gravitate to the colors of the season.
And I am definitely loving this years trending colors!
So, since earlier this week marked the “unofficial” end of Summer, even though it isn’t quite Fall, I still decided to present “back-by-popular-demand” the 2020 Fall Color Palette.
As per HGTV, Sherman-Willaims and Benjamin Moore, the trending colors this season are Sharkskin, Black Beauty, Driftwood, Dinner Party, Victoria Blue, Poppy and Basque Green.
My top four are:
Victoria Blue
Dinner Party
Basque Green
Black Beauty
You can incorporate touches of these colors throughout your home too, without doing a complete remodel. Put seasonal fruit or mini pumpkins in a dark colored bowl as a centerpiece or incorporate a flower arrangement (real or faux) in a funky vase.
Dinner Party (Burgunday) & Victoria Blue-2 of my faves!!
Or, layer throw pillows in a variety of colors and patterns.
This year the Fall color trend is for deeper, warmer color, creating a more cozy space to counter our crazy lives.
Green shades such as Basque Green and Sharkskin are serene and blend well with different styles. You can pair it with neutrals or add a pop of color like Poppy to energize the space.
Victoria Blue is a derivation of the 2020 Pantone color of the year, Classic Blue. Pair it with Oakbuff and the mood in the room instantly becomes uplifting.
More saturated and moody dark grey hues like Black Beauty are prefect for kitchen cabinets and built-ins and are perfect in room filled with natural light.
I would love to see how you've added the Fall color trends to your home decor if you use my suggestions or products. Snap a pic and send it to me and you might just end up on my website!!
