Yellow Pinnacle
This is from a flower series taken at the gardens of a woman who grows and germinates her own variety of Day Lilies. It was actually in her backyard and she allowed me to come in and take pictures. I loved the colors of this one.

Garden Party For One
Water lilies are another one of those flowers that I seem to gravitate to. This flower was not growing in a natural pond. It was actually growing in a reflection pool in a sculpture garden. I liked the way the pink flower, jumped out off the dark water that was reflecting the pool.

Water Lily In Fuchsia
Water lilies are a popular subject for me. I think I am fascinated by how they grow in the dark water and are so vibrant. They have a short season too, so you have to short window to view them.

A New Day
Dahlias are another favorite flower I love to shoot. The color variety is always amazing. Here is a bud that I came across. I found the way the different sized petals were shooting out very interesting.

Hot Pink Day Lily
I took a break from photography for a bit and I am finally getting back into it and doing what I love. Sometimes, you need to step away and evaluate so you can come back stronger.

Other Beautiful Things
I am obsessed with ombre, and what I love about this image is the way the color of the flower creates a natural ombre from yellow to orange. Nature is amazing sometimes.

Fall Afternoon
I could not resist the rich, purple hue of this flower. It didn't even matter that something decided to dine on the petals. It gives it more character.

I love clematis and capture it any where I see it. I can’t grow it in my own yard. Too shady.
